Olifants camp sets the scene for an incredible performance. At dusk when hundreds of bats emerge from their roost, 2 Wahlberg's Eagles and a Peregrine Falcon got into the action! The Wahlberg's Eagles would hang in the thermal and stoop down to catch an unsuspecting bat whilst the Peregrine would chase it down in true spectacular falcon fashion! What a sighting! As a side note, I can easily see why people mis-id these 2 species as Bat Hawks.
